MTM KTM X-Bow, More Extreme
KTM X-Bow was built by the manufacturer for the extremer only. But MTM, the German tuner did not consider the car as an extreme as the usually people think.
Some modification has been taken by MTM including engine and brake. The engine is now more powerful delivering 318hp (237kW) and 310lb-ft of torque instead of the standard’s 240hp (179kW). The standard car hits 0-60 mph in under 4 seconds. Armed with more power and torque, the MTM KTM X-Bow should be even faster, breaking 4 seconds although the details of the modification aren’t released yet. It seen that MTM didn’t add too much speed. The tuning car increases just a tick to 156mph (251km/h).
Balancing the more power and torque engine, MTM presents stronger brakes. Brembo brand has been chosen. They are 305mm rotors with four-piston Brembo calipers at the four corners on the 18in alloy wheels which are wrapped with Nokian Hakkapelliita measuring 245/40.
The tuning car, MTM KTM X-Bow is priced at €64,263 ($85,000). It is €7,310 ($9,670) more expensive than the standard. It is a price for more power and speed.
