2010 Honda CRV (facelift) coming on September 17th

Honda will unveil its facelift model of  Honda CRV SUV that goes as 2010.  The 2010 Honda CRV will make its first appearance on September 17, according to the Japanese automaker. The date will be also the first day of the Frankfurt Motor Show. Unfortunately Honda has not yet made confirmation about this.

The new looking of the 2010 Honda CRV involves the larger upper grille that now features less chrome trim. The lower grille has been modified coming with the reshaped bumper with the new lower part and smaller fog light housings.

The precisely of the appearance changes and the technically upgrade will be clear if Honda has released full details of the European and North American 2010 CR-V along with the JDM model. Just wait for.

Honda Insight, First Hybrid as Best-Selling Vehicle in Japan

Honda Insight hybrid (2010) has proved its capability as the best selling vehicle for the month of April in Japan. This is so special because it is the first hybrid car to become best selling vehicle in Japan.

Japan Automobile Dealers Association released that Honda Insight hybrid has scored 10,481 units in April. It is so amazing considering this hybrid vehicle was just released in February 2009 in Japan. Started at 1.89 million yen ($19,190), the 2010 Honda Insight was followed by Honda Fit subcompact in the second place and Toyota’s Vitz subcompact ranked third. Other Honda and Toyota models comprised the top 10 list.

It will be interesting to see the fighting between the two Japanese aces, Honda Insight and Toyota Prius that will be sold at late May in America.

2009 Honda Civic Si details

Honda Civic Si is one of Honda best selling sedans. The sport sedan in Civic range is available in 4 trims, ranging from the 6-Speed MT to the 6-Speed MT with Navigation and Performance Tires. The pricing for the 2009 Honda Civic Si starts at $22,105 for sedan and $21,905 for coupe.

Honda Civic Si comes to 2009 with amount refinement on its styling that includes standard integrated fog lamps, USB Audio Interface1, and Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink® on models equipped with the available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ with Voice Activation2. The dimension of the car is slightly smaller than the previous year version.

Based on shape, it is available in four-door sedan and coupe. Both versions are powered by a 2.0-liter with a 6-speed manual transmission (with overdrive) as standard while 5 speed automatic transmission as an optional. This 197-horsepower engine achieves 21-mpg in the city and 29-mpg on the highway. Balancing the strong engine in its class, the 2009 Honda Civic Si features also sport suspension highlights consist of firm spring, damper and stabilizer bar tuning along with exclusive 17-inch alloy wheels and high-performance P215/45 R17 87V tires. Exterior appointments include a rear deck lid spoiler (low profile on sedan) and front and rear Si emblems.

One of the safest cars according to the latest crash test results from EuroNCAP with an overall five star rating. Standard safety equipment includes ABS, Electronic Brake force Distribution, and (EBD) Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA).
