2009 GM Daewoo Veritas Pricing
GM Daewoo Auto & Technology (GM Daewoo) has released the pricing for the 2009 Daewoo Veritas which has begun sale in this April. 2009 GM Daewoo Veritas available in three trims, the base model (Deluxe) with price of KRW 50,300,000, Premium at KRW 56,700,000 and Luxury priced at KRW 60,300,000.
2009 GM Daewoo Veritas is powered by Ward’s 10 Best Engines in both 2008 and 2009, the 3.6-liter SIDI (Spark Ignition Direct Injection) engine. The engine is used by Cadillac CTS and this is available in the Veritas for the first time. The engine features special fuel injection system that injects fuel directly into the combustion chamber at high pressure. It makes power improvement from 252 ps to 277 ps and torque from 34 kgm to 36 kgm. Fitted with a new six-speed automatic transmission for spontaneous gear shifting, the luxury car is even more perfect with its eco-friendliness satisfying new KULEV (Korea Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle) requirements and excellent fuel efficiency of 8.7 km/L.
Still in engine, GM also offers two new GM technologies: Active Select and Sport Shift. Active Select gives the driver the choice of shifting gears automatically or manually, which enables customized driving. Sport Shift enables more powerful and spirited driving.
The others high advanced feature as standard option is ESC (Electronic Stability Control) technology. To protect passengers in the event of an emergency situation, this feature integrates all safety systems.
