Ferrari F450 will Hit the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show
Ferrari F450, the replacement for F430 will be unveiled at Frankfurt Auto Show in October of 2009. And F450 comes to make the Ferrari biggest-selling model a life of just five years. The new Ferrari F450 will be sold in the late this year or early in 2010 for Italian market, while for American market will be announced later sometime in 2010. The details and pricing for this exotic car are not available right now.
Moving this car is an enlarged version of the F430’s V8, 4.5-litre engine displacement. Engine features a seven-speed dual-clutch system like on the new California and direct injection to produce more than 500bhp. Using Ferrari’s steering-wheel mounted ‘manettino’ control in coorporation with dual-clutch transmissio, this sport car offers two options for quick sporty driving mode or relaxed automatic driving mode.
Ferrari’s insider said that the F450 is already as fast around the Fiorano test track as the compromise-free F430 Scuderia, but more firmly than the Ferrari California.
Aside the engine performance, what makes this car special is the first Ferrari to produce car with green materials and weight reduction after Ferrari Mille Chili eco-concept (below) in 2007. The new weight reduction envolves an Alcoa’s advanced aluminium chassis technology.
